OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is that a carefully designed facility and a developmentally appropriate curriculum with plenty of one on one attention enhanced by age appropriate enrichment experiences will provide children the opportunity to develop the "whole child" by focusing on the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical needs of the child. A nurturing atmosphere created by a loving and professional staff plays an integral part in a child's care, education and development.
We recognize the intrinsic values and limitless possibilities of our early learners. Fostering a love of learning, facilitating children in discovering new experiences, creating a positive self-image, developing individual creativity and critical thinking skills is part of what Imagination Station is all about. The other part is you. We believe parents are an integral part of our center. Together, we will build a mutual support system for the benefit of your child.
Daily communication between parents and staff is encouraged and valuable. Mutual respect between parents and teachers is desirable. We maintain an open door policy for our parents. We, the owners, are parents too and expect nothing less for our own children. Imagination Station Preschool can help to provide some balance for you between work, home and family while providing fun for the children too!
OUR CURRICULUM
At Imagination Station Preschool, we understand the importance of early childhood education and the need to give children a head start on their formal educational years. This high quality program is a result of experienced Early Childhood Educators who are committed to meeting the needs of the students and facilitating a program that is modeled after the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum. Our program provides a rich age-appropriate environment where children can develop a love for learning and discover new talents and abilities. The teachers here at Imagination Station Preschool have a passion for what they do and are excited to work with the students during this new adventure!
Our enriched program is available from Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. We offer full programs for those seeking more extensive educational and personal development for their child. Our school is family owned and operated and is centrally located in the heart of Stittsville. Imagination Station’s well-established operational format delivers premium, quality education and child care services. Our school offers an array of amenities and extra-curricular activities designed to make the child care experience hassle free for our busy parents. We offer different activities such as Drama, Dance, and an exercise program. Our dedicated staff and welcoming facility as well as our extensive educational program are what set Imagination Station Preschool apart. Our goal is for our parents to feel as though their child is in the hands of their “extended family” while growing and thriving each and every day. Imagination station will respond to the needs of its parents and students with excellent care-giving and instruction, an advanced curriculum and flexible programs.
