Form warm, stable relationships with child

We establish a warm, genuine, personal relationship with each child to optimize development in all areas.

Promote child development through routines and play

We make learning as a part of the daily routines and offer a wide variety of play experiences both indoors and outdoors.

At Imagination Station our goal is to provide quality Early Childhood Education within a safe and caring environment. We challenge the students to develop their cognitive abilities as well as their artistic intelligence. We nurture social relationships through interactions with teachers and other students. We have a daily schedule that creates a secure, structured, educational environment..

Provide a safe environment for children

We try to prevent injuries, take all necessary precautions to provide a safe environment.

Establish strong partnership with parents

We establish a strong partnership with parents to support the child, the family and the school.

Prevent infection and disease and model good habits

We promote children’s health by modeling and encouraging healthful habits in an environment where health hazards have been minimized.

DEVELOPING SKILLS

Social Skills

The students interact with peers and adults, they learn to function as a group member and learn appropriate social behaviour through directed activities.

Physical Skills

The students are given the opportunity to use a variety of physical skills in the gross motor and fine motor areas. The school ensures the student has the opportunity for adequate nutrition and rest as required.

Intellectual Skills

The children are given the opportunity to explore, observe, to know and understand objects and events in their environment. They are given the opportunity to develop language skills, both in use of words and the skill of listening. These are integrated to the development as social, intellectual, artistic and emotional skills.

Artistic Skills

Children are given the materials and time to create and expand their imaginations by letting them explore all the aspects of art including paint, pastels, drama and music.
